Killer Cupcakes
Candy Spider Cupcake
These spider cupcakes are ones that I made for a Halloween party last year. I found this recipe on a website called Bright Ideas. I thought they were so cute and wanted to recreate it. The first step to make these cupcakes is to spread buttercream and then add chocolate sprinkles. Next, you must cut marshmallows in half. To the stickier side of the marshmallow you must put an eye made out of chocolate Smarties (or M&Ms). You must then place the eye in the front of the cupcake. A Smarties nose must then be placed between the spiders eyes. Lastly, red licorice is cut into spider legs and you must place them inside the cupcake so they do not fall.
RIP Cupcakes
These spooky cupcakes were also made for the same Halloween party. My mom had too many coffee biscuits and I decided to make use of them! The first step is to apply buttercream on the cupcake and then put chocolate sprinkles on it. The next step is to put an oval shaped cookie in the cupcake with the word 'RIP' written on it with black icing. They are simple to make and spooky for Halloween!
Shark Cupcakes
This is a cupcake I created for the summer. It fits into the section of killer cupcakes because sharks are killers! I found this recipe on the Martha Stewart baking site and created it differently. The first step is to apply an ocean bleu buttercream. You must put a lot of buttercream and spread it as if there are waves. Next, cut out a piece of blue paper for the shark and put it in on the buttercream. Lastly, add gold fishes and place them on the buttercream as if they are swimming.
